I usually do a mist spray of WD-40 on the augers and the chute.

I have an 8' woods blade to pull behind my mower at the farm. It's 2700' of driveway. My machine at home/ 50' driveway, is a front mount blower for the Craftsman. It's new this year and when we had some of the heavy stuff the 3 stage cranked it out no prob. If I need to, I have a can of silicone I'll spray in there.
