sweet old bill
I got a new bow and I see that the cable touch one to the other about 4 inches below the slide. The bow is shooting great but is this a problem. I wax the string and cables and see not ware or damage. I have another slide on order to see if this resolves the issue. WNYBuckHunter
It shouldnt be an issue I dont think. Mine cross and I think touch below the roller guard (same as cable slide) as well. The cable slide is there to keep the cables off to the side so they dont interfere with the arrow. Some bows are actually setup so that the arrow travels between the cables
fasteddie
It isn't a major issue if they touch lightly and keeping the string / cables waxed really helps . Keep an eye on the slide . I put a new Simms Teflon slide on a bow a few years ago and it was shredding the cable . It had a slight BURR on it . A $12 slide cost me big time for new cables & string . sweet old bill
I got a new slide and guess what after $14.95 spent for a new NAP slide, they still touch. SO will make sure they are kept waxed and the bow is shooting great groups now so if I miss it me and not the bow.
