Who's hunting Putnam County on October 1st for Turkey/Coyote?

I like to hit the pheasant release sites in Putnam and Dutchess, but a Saturday opener = way too many hunters for my liking. I will give it a few days and go after work during the week. All of the birds are not taken and if you have a good dog, you can still get a couple of chances.

yea I never got into bird hunting. I plan on going to state land on 10/1 that doesnt have pheasants so hopefully its less crowded and I will call for some yotes.

Im goining out oct 1 to state land plan on being in before sun up this is a good time to see what is being pushed around been doing this for a few years alot of fun even if i do not get any birds

where do you hunt in Hydepark that where I grew up not much left since they cut up the old stomping grounds ive got one small peice off 9 G
