oneidacountyhunter
Does anyone know why my trail camera does this?? It's a Moultrie D-55 IR I have a ton of pics like this. It doesn't matter battery life, temp, time, weather.... It does it regardless. Not all the time. Some pics are better and some are worse. biggamefish
It looks like it is writing over each picture. In the old days it would be called a double exposer (film days) I would say try a differnt sd card it might make a difference.
oneidacountyhunter
Thanks, I'll give that a try. It makes sense
Single_shot
My WGI IR4 did this a cpl times.Strange indeed. I pulled the SD card and the camera still has 30 photos on it itself....so I will need to bring it home and plug it into the pc to clear it.And I have a new SD card to start out fresh. When I last checked my SD card on my pc,I could not get it to load anything on my pc ,it said it was damaged.....there was a host of pics on it,I was really agitated to say the least, but figured a different way to see the files and used different measures to get them loaded up.I looked closer at the old card and saw it was physically broken, the seem had split. But,when I finally was able to see the pics on it,I did have some that were distorted like the one you posted. So check to see if your card may possibly be split on the side. WNYBuckHunter
You can try just formatting the card, but in my experience and opinion, it needs a software update. You can contact Moultrie's support and they will walk you through updating the camera. You will need the camera, a USB cord and your computer to be on with an internet connection before you call. Had a similar issue with one of my Moultries and they were able to fix it.
Robinson446
Yeah maybe your SD card is full and is taking pictures over eachother... Try writing to the company and asking them if they have seen this problem before.
