I'd wager a small bet the guy wasn't 30' up anyway. It doesn't matter anyway but I'm sure it was just a fireman/EMT nest estimate in the dark.

Even us hunters have a hard time estimating height, weight, length etc.

I really don't have sympathy for someone who has fallen out of a tree these days. No excuse anymore.

Pretty much agree with all of this.

For some reason those comment sections under news stories always look like that. The people who comment on them always seem to be perfect and never made a mistake in life.

We have a rule in my household-- no one is allowed to read the 'comments' section under any news article. No matter what it's about, its enough to make you sick of humanity! I think people just use the comments section to troll and get other people riled up.
