Staten Island turkey season???

We have turkey hunting now on Long Island, maybe Staten Island is not far behind???

They should open Turkey on S.I. as a trial run for a day or two and see how it turns out just like they did on L.I. They should also open bowhunting on S.I. as I always see Deer on the way to the Outer Bridge right off the side of the road.

Hunting within NYC limits will never happen. I just can't see it. Why would any hunter want to subject themselves to the uproar and circus that would be created during such a hunt? I'd rather hunt on a deserted planet with no life at all, than to hunt in the type of scenario that would be created here!

I don't see any harm in hunting these critters with an airgun.
