4F NOTHING!!!!!

Just got back from 4F - New Lisbon. Was there Friday - today and my group didn't see much. I spooked a 4ptr in the afternoon yesterday....

Not many shots in the area - I just don't understand it!

Anyone hunt in that area & experiencing the same????

I know its big country in that area and the deer could be anywhere, but I expected a little more activity than this!!!

We got a 10 point opening day, have only filled one of our 3 doe tags. I have to agree our area in 4F has been real quiet also. Opening day was quiet for cripes sake not as many people out hunting it seems these days.

Opening day my cousin took a 6pt this past Fri I took a 9pt Fri the woods were full of does and sat nothing very quiet

Opening weekend we got a spike and saw a couple doe.

I wonder if this has to do with the bad acorn crop we had this year.

Who knows. But it really sucks!!

IMO too warm. I didn't even go last weekend. (yesterday and the day before) 65 degrees today, I'm going out this weekend, as the weather will finally be below 50.

My buddy scored on a 7 pointer (me with the buck) day after opener in 4f on my property.I saw couple spikes , loads of does and fawns through the season so far. Seen deer on almost every sit, however not seeing any of the big boys I had on camera. Very few shots as well , the few shots I did hear were far away.

I opted out last weekend to warm for me went fishing on th eUpper Hudson instead.

Dead woods didn't see hear nothin all this weekend.........shoulda went fishin and got the boat out one last time to damn warm out!

One more weekend to go I better not end up eating tags!!!!
