Big Indian
does anyone use the yellow sunglasses ? I have never used but was sitting in a spot last week and could not see very well due to the glare and thought of getting a pair. just wondering if anyone has comments ,input or whatever. thanks
biggamefish
Yellow alway seems to make glare worse I would get a lightly darkened pair of polerized sun glasses.
eagle rider
Funny I was thinking the same thing. A buddy uses a pair of amber/copper tinted polarized glasses and swears he sees sharp as a tack with zero glare.

Suilleabhain
I use amber when I shoot my muzzleloader, range requirement, seem fine. One thing I did notice years back, my brother and I found an amber scope lense cap laying around on a shelf at our club. He stuck it in his pocket and we were hunting from a treestand over snow. At dusk he stuck the cap on his scope, boy did that light up with the snow and you had extra shooting time.
Phillygunns
Yellow or amber lenzes gather light and eliminate glare. i had a pair I used for night driving so the oncoming head lights would not blind me. Vermillion and brown tints are good for hazy or cloudy days. Darker shades are of course for bright days. I did find if I used the yellow lenzes on sunny days I got a head ache. Gthphtm
Wear a baseball type cap with the brim facing forward, not that mocho look with it in the back and it eliminates the glare with both yellow and dark polarizes lenses.
