121011 Long Island Rabbit Hunt Video!!

Had a Nice Solo Hunt Today on Long Island, dogs ran all day from 830 am to around 230 pm. Ran a total of 8 rabbits and harvested 4, Very nice day to be out, very proud of dogs today!!

karp, they getting to be in good shape, have not hunted much past couple weeks, but been doing some training runs, hope get some snow soon, have nice state spots for us to hit past east hampton ,super thick, and would be nice for you and geno to see, alot deer sign.

Congrats BK, these rabbits look pretty good and your dogs are awesome....! Do you take people to tag along? I would love to join you on one of these hunts. What do you use 12ga, 20ga or 410?

Sorry have not responded guys ,have had hectic few weeks,as my mom was in hospital since before new year and I had a terrible sinus infection. Once in a while I do welcome guests, BUT, have to warn you , am really serious about safety around the dogs, no insult intended. I actually hope to set something up with 2 other board members soon. I use 20ga,28ga, and 410, I went out yesterday and will upload video soon

Anthony, sorry to hear about you mom! Is she ok and out of the hospital? I hope your new year gets better. Did some rabbit hunting with some friends in Mayfair NY (I think...secret, secret). Enjoyed hearing the hounds baying! I did not even shoot...great times.

Hey Anthony, hope your mom gets better soon and shes feeling good. I hear you on the sinus problem. I have to set my humidifier up, my house is getting dry and i wake up every morning all congested... The dogs look great BTW. Looks like fun as always

Thanks karp and geno, she had pneumonia and had bacteria in her blood, she home now,still on iv antibiotics, for another 2 weeks. She also does not speak english ,so I am her translator, LOL.

Yes geno on the humidity, get a humidity guage, looks like a thermometer, and should be bet 30% and 40%, I have 2 humidifiers for house and one in kids bedroom.

Also lets try to get together maybe end of next week one eve with karp at an applebees or something, maybe on route 110 or something

Anthony, I know how the translating thing goes. My parents also do not speak the language (english) . They both speak Spanish but no English (grew up in Brooklyn). Yes, let's get together one night.

good glad to hear shes out. I set up my humidifier last night, it was night and day! lol i woke up breathing fine... guess it really is dry in there from the pellet stove. And i am game for meeting up. Keep me posted.
