I have a crossbow, that I could of used. I watched the Crossbow 101 video. Filled out the Crossbow Certificate of Qualification & Practiced. Would of been nice to harvest a deer with a new weapon, but I never took it out. Never felt good enough to take it to field without a saftey coarse. It's alot different than a recurve, sure isn't no gun. It's in a league of its own. The state needs to get on board, with a saftey coarse. Bow & Gun saftey coarses don't cover crossbows. This needs attention now. Everyone that want to use them should be required to take the coarse.

Dec need's to give one buck tag and 2 doe tags with no transfer of tags and let you use them in any season that you care to use them in. 3pt rule and one buck per season. You like to bowhunt then fill your tags and be done. You like to do bow,muzzle,shotgun. So be it. Fill one tag per season.

Four Season, are you talking the whole state? That would never fly with the DEC, in areas where deer population is increasing and they want to raise harvest levels.
