Fantail
source Fans of science fiction movies of the 80s might remember “Runaway,” in which Gene Simmons plays an evil scientist who invents “smart” bullets that seek out specific human targets. Sandia National Laboratories has brought that a bit closer to the real world. Researchers Red Jones, Brian Kast and their colleagues invented a self-guided bullet that can hit targets more than a mile away.
WNYBuckHunter
Hey, maybe you can upload the pic of the buck you want and fire it so it searches for the buck and kills only it, then it can send you a text message with GPS coordinates of the dead deer!

Elmo
If you can get close enough to it to put a laser target on it then why can't you just shoot it with a normal bullet?

Fantail
If you can get close enough to it to put a laser target on it then why can't you just shoot it with a normal bullet? Lets say, oh I dunno off the top of my head, you needed a spy to get in close to some nut job that needs to be dead. Well, some clown dressed up like a reporter with sun glasses that are realy desguised laser pointers can get in close instead of an assasin. Lock on and fire away. Or, when the ups guy throws your delivery over the fence, ... oh never mind.
