I’m thinking it may help the deer come over to my clover/grass…they would be more hidden because I have a 125ft wide by 550ft long patch of thicket (west)and trees making my plot secluded .

Then there are 100 acres of woods ( east)

unless they keep just coming out at night

Get off the fields and get In trails to filed 100 yards or so and you'll see deer in shooting light..  you will be more effective if you give up sight hunting as a visual hunter and  use your ears to hear something coming in thick cover and when you see it it's in range already.   Makes a huge difference in successful hunts

Two big does came out of the edge of the woods at 4:55

If there was snow on the ground I would have shot …

Probably should have but …

100 yard shot with my .243…

Hope I see them again ..
