Amen Doc....I would hate to be a young hunter starting out and trying to pay the fees. At 18 and paying for college....100 bucks meant A LOT!

I have found butcher shops that cut for hunters for the hungry that aren't listed on the DEC site...ask around...I donated 13 deer a few years back from nusiance tags. Big bag limits dpnt mean it is going to waste. I know lots of folks that don't hunt but love venison...I always have someone very willing to take them. The ones that can afford it py the butcher bill....the ones. That can't I cut it up. Bag limits should be based on what is optimum for the herd..not worrying about what anti's say...my two cents
