Im going to go pick up my 67 galaxy tomorrow. My first total restoration project. Shes gonna be a monster!

Body in rough shape?

Engine a 289 or larger ci?

Going to need to add the lead additive to the gasoline?

Believe there is no NY required smog or pollution control on pre-1972 vehicles.

Be sure to document your progress with photos through out the entire restoration.

body has surface rust. currently a 289, but going with a 347 stroker engine. its a convertible, the only downfall. wanted a 65 plymouth sport fury, but the guy wont return my call.

Ever watch any of the classic car auctions (Meccum) on TV.

Something to dream about, but $$$$.

Of course, restoring yourself is a great project too.

Can pace the restoration finacially.

I watch the barrett jackson. Saw the last original general lee charger go for 230 thou. crazy. I had a 72 nova ss back in high school, and i wrecked it. Sold the engine(454) and the m22 4 speed about 5 years ago, wish I didnt.

I had a 65 Sport Fury just after high school. I bet a big buck could fit in the truck and still be able to close it.

Must have been an engine transplant.

I special ordered a new 1972 Nova SS with all the accessories for $3500.

Quite sure the biggest motor was the watered down 350 with a meager 200 something HP.

Wish I still had it!!!!!
