Nothing here so far. I bumped into five?! other guys today in a small 30 acre area. Needless to say my first light was shot, so we walked way back up in to get away from everyone else-- not only for our sakes, but so we didn't accidentally harass their hunt either. Stayed out till noon then home again. A safety tip for you guys that are bagging turkeys-- this sounds stupid but it really happened to a friend of ours. He had a turkey upside down over his shoulder (so it was upside-down, hanging, 5 feet in the air) and another guy shot him, thinking he was shooting a turkey. Yes, really. He was picking bbs out of himself for years, not to mention the chonic pain. Luckily the guy that shot him helped him out of the woods or he may have died. Pack away an orange cap, vest, or even some surveyor's ribbon and put it on your dead bird after harvest if you will be walking through the woods with it!

Grouse. You have no idea what my politics are. The only way some people's world makes sense is if they can brand everyone who doesn't see some thing their way as a liberal. I am not a liberal. I voted for McCain and Palin in the last election. These threads are so typical a few folks always get their panties in a bunch and start hurling insults at other whose views don't match their own. In my opinion Ted is an attention grabbing, accomplish nothing waste of all of our time.

I think the only "audience" that listens to Nugent are those that WANT to hear him. With the NRA zealots he has a captive audience. With EVERYONE else they just shrug it off as - look at where it's coming from... an IDIOT! Nugent doesn't represent the NRA, Nugent doesn't represent his Family, Nugent doesn't represent Veterans! Nugent represents Nugent! All of his actions prove demonstrate just that. As a veteran all I can say is. It takes a hell of a lot of nerve to wrap yourself in the American Flag screaming Hoo ahh!! After eating sausage and deffecating in your own pants for two weeks, so you can get yourself eliminated from the Draft.. The only conviction or principle this nut job has is looking out for Numeral Uno.

And thats where you are wrong, he only represents himself. He only speaks for himself. While he does speak ABOUT issues, that doesnt make him a representative of anyone else.

Now why is anyone an al or nothing package? I can disagree with many people on one topic and agree with them on other. I can appreciate how some lead their lives and take great dismay in how others do. I thik whether is is picking friends, politicians or showing support for someone that is speaking up on a topic. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing. If there were a political candiate that was a supporter of social programs but also was a stong supported of 2nd ammendment rights. I can agree with their views on one and not the other. when it comes to throwing my support behind that person I have to weigh wich is most important to me. Paula hit it o the head with his family issues. they are his and the women he was involved with (and their childrens) issues. He si speaking up for a topic that many won't take on and is important to me so he, at a minimum, gets my respect for speaking up. Even if I don't like how he sometimes says things. He is at least saying them. The game law violations....well he sucks in that regards and lost his right to speak in those circles until he does some real pennance.
