  1. What a beautiful spot!! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I say do the stillhunt. Even if you don’t get a shot opportunity you may find some real good sign and want to set up there another time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Oh man, this is really buggin me. Have to find a way to make it into the woods this weekend. Getting my son ready for his bowhunting career (all day safety course tm) and the honey do list for Sunday keeps getting longer. Doesn't she realize what time of year this is?!?
  4. I couldn’t agree more. I always try to do the right thing even when getting away with the wrong thing is possible. I have gone years at a time without taking a deer because of either being very selective or not wanting to be unethical. That’s how I got the name Squirrelwhisperer haha. I have had stands disappear too. Have to chain them to the tree now. Have to worry about trail cams also. Truth is I hate ppl that break/bend the rules and I hate ppl that waste animals. The other day I found a large body deer with his head missing just dumped on the side of the road. I would never fault someone for head hunting but don’t dump the animal. Donate it if your not gonna eat it. there are ppl less fortunate that would truly appreciate that animal. I so envy you guys with these huge pieces of land where no one ever goes and the deer frolic and play. If I can see 40 yds in a spot I’m lucky. Btw, if I did use a howitzer, I’d be aiming for all your bucks from here lolllll Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If I ever get free I will not make the same mistake twice!! Definition of insanity - doing the same thing......
  6. No hunting for me this weekend. I am taking my youngest for his bow-safety course. That's all day Saturday. He is stoked! Work around the house on Sunday. Have to knock out some of the "honey do" list because I won't be able to get back to it until after deer season!!
  7. If he is a reputable guide he should be well versed in the local laws. If my animal gets CONFISCATED because of his negligence, HIS cape would be going to the taxidermist
  8. If I spent that much on my hunt and my animal gets confiscated, I would shoot and mount the guide!!
  9. Another day, another dollar.....Wouldn't it be better as Another day, another deer? Good luck to all out this morning. I'll be desk jockeying as usual
  10. You say that like it’s a bad thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So much less confusing on Long Island...bow only Oct - Dec, bow or shotgun Jan
  12. Stinks having to work for a living! Somebody get something on the ground!! Good luck out there.
  13. Good cull buck. He def needed to stop swimming in the gene pool lol I nominate this for best pic yet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 63 deg no wind. Had a chance to go and went into my stand. Had a better chance to see Bigfoot than any deer tho. O well still early. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
