Maybe it’s the warm mild fall ? Maybe it’s Covid and more people are stomping the woods because they are out of work ?? I know my property is much different . I’ve owned it since 2006. It was a given every morning and night lots of deer in my field and wooded hedge.. This year I see a few but always 2am on my camera . I was getting lots of buck and doe pics a weeks before bow season ... then like two weeks before it opened none ! so is YOUR area seem different this year ? Are you seeing less or no deer ?

That’s not the way it was explained to me. you CAN use the crossbow the week after gun and use doe tags ,gun buck tag or the ml tag

I’ve been using my ground blind and killed a doe opening morning . issue is it has 4 windows . I usually only open 3 and sit with my back to the corner all dressed in black. the front window faces one trail , the back another , and the side another... but leaving today I discovered a nice fresh rub, big cedar torn up. it’s on a rocky sharp pointed ridge and opposite the window I leave closed . now I really want to watch all 4 sides.. but I’m afraid the deer would see my shape ???

There is a woods I may hunt where I don’t want to use a ladder stand or ground blind which hang on or climbers are best i weigh 170

Yea agree, that’s why I walked in everyplace and looked in ever brush pile etc .. maybe I will see her before the season ends...

Yup , swallow hard .. if you saw the ravines I’ve been up and down it would blow your mind,,, good thing I’m somewhat in shape ... many it’s tough ,. again I wish I could relive that day but ... live and learn ...
