after few emails, tags & license got delivered by priority mail. received them on 19th

bought mine on aug 10. still nothing. not sure what the issue is. support agent responded they will be mailing soon. fingers crossed

Thanks all. apologies if my intentions are not clear in the original post I am looking to hunt with rifle only this season [hence 3S out of question, for both bow and 3S hunting this year, besides 3S is apply and invitation only? i am not sure]. although i completed the online Bow Hunter Ed, i am not looking to apply for one this year. i am open to travel upto 2 hours up north. @Biz-R-OWorld thanks for that link [saving it] i do have watershed permit, surprised it was free [nothings free in NY, they do nickle and dime for everything]. @Daveboone, compass noted, or even a handheld gps?

so never hunted. i am hoping to get there. any recommendations on where to start. i am in westchester (3s), out of question for rifle hunting. [public land only] i read horror stories of people getting shot in public land, i am a bit wary about it, but willing to take a chance, i have to start somewhere. any recommendations on which unit / forest i should try scouting and remotely even have a chance? [not holding any illusions of success]. worst case, i hike a lot and enjoy the nature.

never hunted. applied for hunting permit early this april. got Hunting Permit, Turkey Permit Back Tag Sprint Turkey Permit #1 Sprint Turkey Permit #2 [ended up doing nothing, as work and life came in way] -- on aug 10, [for renewal/repurchase] Do I get new Tags? Will I get 2 Deer Tags? Do i have to any purchase any region specific additional Tags? how can i know where I can hunt? [interested in rifle only, that rules out westchester and few other bow only regions] its a bit confusing on these regions and understanding tags thanks in advance.

@Buckmaster7600 when to call off the tracking/hunt? different types of equipment/techniques to bring deer back to vehicle/resting place [dry/wet/snow conditions]

I would love to tag along with with someone like you and learn tips on how to... [i have never hunted, and a total n00b, and probably would be annoying asking a million questions and ruin your hunt lol] Good luck on finding a videographers, they are not cheap.

Mac MacBook Air - if used strictly for light weight stuff MacBook Pro - if she is an engineering grad. [13inch ones are cheaper but good]
