  1. You’re thinking younger buck with outstanding nutrition/genetics?
  2. Are those jagdterriers? (Also, good for you for following the quarantine protocol. The only way to keep the numbers down is by us all doing our part.)
  3. You appear to think of mental health derisively. I invite you to reconsider. Recall that more soldiers die from mental health related illness upon return than from battlefield trauma. If you’re feeling unusually anxious or paranoid, don’t be afraid to seek help. No shame in that. That said, tell us more about Trump’s budget increase. As I recall, his NIH budget proposals have been abismal.
  4. Did these other parties also field a veritable who’s who of Liberal Americana?
  5. I shoot Hornady Superformance SST. My SST groupings were better than with their GMX. I think the GMX is all copper and heavier in my case
  6. I’ve been wanting to make the switch for bird shot but haven’t yet. I’ve heard good things about Boss and Backridge ammo, and they certainly do a lot of marketing, but I’ve never shot either. I recall reading about an upland hunter whose dogs died of lead poisoning after prolonged illness. I’ll try to find the article, I forget the details.
  7. You’ve seen the Trump people backtrack on the sleepy Joe cartoon. They’re worried about the debates. There’s plenty about Biden that makes him an optimal candidate for the time. He doesn’t have the oratory skills of Obama or the ‘charm’ (is that what you guys like about him?) of Trump, but he’s highly competent and that’s what this country needs right now.
  8. Welcome! Where did you do your duck hunting in S. FL? Ever in Okeechobee? I have family down there and thought about going out for ducks, but having my dog retrieve with gators nearby was enough to quell that. I’ve don’t a lot of shooting at Trail Glades Range.
  9. I think that the mistake. No Democratic leader is calling for any of that. It’s a straw man.
  10. Non Ivy League educated. Working class upbringing. He and his policies are as centrist as they come.
  11. You troll on multiple forums?!? You should look into gigs in one of these (troll farm): https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/turning-point-teens-disinformation-trump/2020/09/15/c84091ae-f20a-11ea-b796-2dd09962649c_story.html
  12. In a representative democracy, you vote for individuals who will champion your values. We don’t generally have referendums on individual policies/bills. You can vet their values based partly on the policy platform they put forth. But since bill drafting is usually a protracted process involving compromise, etc, it’s good to vote for those with aligned values.
  13. You shouldn’t worry too much about TCIII. He doesn’t reek of your fragility.
  14. Fake because Trump tells you it's fake? Do all the thinking you want but if you're using bad information your conclusions won't be sound. As it goes, garbage in, garbage out. Expanding voting access shouldn't be biased to specific groups. Rather it should be uniformly applied so that everyone has increased access.
  15. No, you’re missing the point. Lack of confidence in the results is fueled by Trump’s posturing and his ongoing claims that there’s rampant election fraud. This is false. He should instead be doing everything possible to empower states (and USPS) to expand voting access, be it by mail or otherwise.
  16. It’s important to be clear eyed about what’s happening. Trump’s disregard for the rule of law and refusal to follow longstanding norms that have kept our democracy healthy needs to be stated. Like hitler, Trump aims to divide by appealing to the worst aspects of human nature, for political gain. Watching the Republican leadership leave or fall in line has been even more startling. The parallels are evident and you shouldn’t shy away from saying so.
  17. It’s the same old right wing fear mongering. How many investigations, some led by Republicans, have now shown the absence of widespread voter fraud? Yet that continues to be a talking point. Voting by mail has long been in place in many states. Expanding access isn’t a great departure from the norm. Remember, there are many elderly and ill folks that aren’t making daily Walmart rounds and who would be hesitant to stand in line to vote. Hopefully the GOP will show whatever is left of their spine and accept the election results. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/09/24/gop-peaceful-power-transfer-421025
