Seems your Democrats were all about telling people what to do with their bodies for the last couple years but are singing a different tune now. Those Damn midterms ya know. -
Proposed crossbow legislation for 2022

And if they are going to let hunters use a weapon to kill a deer why wouldn’t they let them use the very best possible of said weapon? Exactly why people make their own rules anymore. Not just in hunting but in life itself. So many idiots in charge making stupid rules for people. Do You, Is what I say. -

And exactly the reason that many use whatever crossbow they bought. Ones that can afford the best bought the best and use them accordingly. Can’t say I have ever seen a dumber law. Beside coyote having a season maybe. -

Wrong again. These properties are a wildlife paradise. They don’t have vermin running rampant so they actually still even have small game and game birds. They say god made all creatures equally but when it comes to property that’s built and Maintained for the sportsman there are many creatures that are useless and must be dealt with regardless of where or when. -

I believe if you reread the words written it says… many landowners… and I can tell you for a fact that the many that I know are at both ends of the state and are part of a group of landowners with many acres involved. And you would be hard pressed to find better all around hunting grounds. -

I own land in both ends of the state and yes I hunt both at times. The public land is much more of a challenge and carries more of the class of Whitetails I chase. The changes nothing to the fact that many landowners will do whatever it takes to make sure their hunting properties remain to the standards they bought them for. And if that entails making their own decisions on when and where harvests are needed then their ok with that. Right or wrong it’s just the way it is. -

I am well aware of who makes the hunting seasons and dates in the state. Which means absolutely nothing to some when it comes to managing their own property. Maybe someday you will own a number of properties and know exactly where some are coming from. -

That still can be a personal choice even with full inclusion. You can make it as hard as you want with a wooden bow and arrows and you can make it as easy as possible. Choices… Many play softball. Some fast pitch… Some slow pitch.. Still Softball. -

I Think you are getting a little carried away with your connections here but to your questions. A meth house? A couple in the area but not my concern or am I the only one that believes so. The other two I would probably have to open up. In the case of private hunting property purchased and taxed on being ruined in part by some fool sitting in an office that is totally clueless to what’s going on with a piece of ground is not flying. Now if someone else wants to pay 250 grand for property and then get taxed 10 grand plus a year to allow someone else to ruin it for them then that’s on them. Many in these parts have not and will not let that happen. Call it what you will but one could even say the little ticket one might get in return for their doings would be well worth the price when it comes to investments. I hope that does not sound like I am Boasting about others doings for any Karen’s out there. If so I deeply apologize !!! -

Now be nice. Some fools have to make up that 30% approval rating. Hard to imagine any of them are sportsmen. Maybe that shows!! -

Boasting??? By speaking the facts. How’s that work for ya? I have no problem speaking facts and truths. It’s some of the Karen’s that can’t handle that part. -

And if you could comprehend the wording…Kinda say…They earned that right to a point..Their Land… Their Rules. Kinda Say= Them …They=Them…Their= Them. What I say means nothing to for or about anyone doing anything they please on their properties. Just as what they say would mean nothing to my land or what I do with it or on it. Kinda goes back to that finding a business and minding it thing. -

Again you have it a little mixed up. Because I say that it happens has nothing to do with me promoting it. It’s not my world to decide what people do and don’t do on their own property. I have a business and I make sure to mind that business. It matters none what I think about what someone else does on their property. Have I seen some awesome properties made by landowners, one that you or anyone else would give a leg to hunt on… You betcha. It works. -

You are really clueless if you don’t think it’s a thing and happens all over the state and country. You think people are going to just sit back and let some people that really are clueless to what happens in the woods ruin something you spent your whole life obtaining? So your kinda saying that it’s ok for someone to say shoot more game then allowed as long as they use the three S’s? I don’t have to condone anything. People have choices to either sit back and let some idiots dictate what they do regardless if it ruins their quality of life or they do something about it. Pretty simple concept. -

To me it’s kinda like the crossbow already got the Trophy because of the best two weeks of the season. Let’s face it. Many guys that hunt with both archery pieces are going to drop the bow and pick up the crossbow come rut time where the bucks are about always moving and then they also can reach out there 60-80 yards at a buck chasing in a field or such. Weather colder, more clothes on, harder to draw the bow. Crossbow already got the trophy. But the young and the old getting full shot would not be such a bad thing in this state. -

Exactly. And only a fool would sit back and watch their properties go to wastelands because of useless vermin or some idiot in a shirt and tie sitting at a desk that has never been in the woods make the laws for said properties. Some folks are getting smart to the game. And those that bitch about landowners doing what needs to be done are those that will probably never own property -

Maybe not legal in the mans eyes but in this world of today that word does not hold a whole lot of water on many levels. As we have seen. Even from the top. To your rant about the animals. I can promise you that any lands I speak of are the type of hunting that I would guess you have never seen. A lack of anything is not a problem. Now tell me about how those wolves you speak of are working out for the land owners up in the UP and big country that bought their property for whitetail hunting? Now that the vermin has ate about every 4 legged creature. Not to even mention the farmers. Tell me about all the people bitching in even this state for the lack of Turkey numbers? Why?? Because nobody does a thing about the over population of the useless vermin in Yotes, coons and the rest of the egg suckers. I can promise you that any property I speak of does not have any of these issues. Right, Wrong or indifferent it’s just the way it is. And these people are doing better for any lands they deal with compared to the lands outside them. So in reality they are doing the next door neighbor a service. You know, The one that shoots as many deer as they can regardless of size and just maybe if it’s tagged it might be lucky and have a wives or kids tag on it. You have much more to worry about then some very well off people that own so great hunting property because they have the smarts to build a great hunting property. -

One would think so. These properties are 1000 acres to over 4000. Amazing how if a person fences his property he can pretty much do as he feels with the land and animals but not without. Even though he owns and pays the taxes on same piece of property. -

In my line of business I have lived with the DEC for 25 years. Never an issue here. Need a damage permit or problems with Vermin and they are there to help fix the problem. Most people keep to themselves and do not cause waves. Kinda like find a business and mind it. -

You might feel that way but trust me… That’s not the way it works in today’s real world. That’s kinda like saying anyone can also go on anyone’s private land and hunt those critters because the “People” own them. Nope. I know many that own 1000’s of acres and they manage their property to their standards and their liking. They choose what when and with what they do on their property. They stock different fish and fish when they want regardless of seasons and they do the same with the critters. Just the way it is.
