  1. Will it throw off my tuned bow by tightening the hex screws that hold the cam to the limb? There is one screw on either side of the limb.
  2. Awesome, feeling more confident about my purchase now. They should arrive next Monday, just in time to test them out on the holiday hunt!
  3. How about the warmth factor, besides the short coming your described, does it keep you toasty or just warm enough to deal with the cold?
  4. I do plan on walking in light then layering up once I'm where I want to be. I truly do hope you are wrong though and these clothes keep me warm, lol. I took a 1200 dollar gamble so I really hope it pays off
  5. Hey Guys, this year I have been hitting the treestand pretty hard and I'm having a REAL difficult time staying warm. I just purchased First Lite Sanctuary 2.0 Lineup as well as their furnace base layers. I'm really really hoping these do the trick and keep me toasty. Do any of you have any experience with First Lite, or even better yet their Sanctuary 2.0/Furnace lineup?
  6. I'm surprised he believes the amount of deer you see dictates the population.
  7. DEC determines if the herd is in great shape, no? My opinion on the matter is mute. If DEC extended the season there is a logical reason for it. Or do I just not know how DEC works?
  8. Forgive me because I am new to this so maybe I will sound ignorant on the matter. I thought the whole reason for the longer season is to reduce the number of deer even further than normal as there is an abundance. From what I was reading, DEC does a pretty good job at heard management and a lot of time/research goes into determining the length of a season. If this is truly then case then why am I seeing so many others who are against this?
  9. Agreed, I just dont have the proper gear to keep from freezing in teen weather up in a tree stand :(
  10. Way too cold this morning for me, will go out for a sit with the new bow around 2. Stay warm fellas.
  11. Is it logical to think that the parts that wiggled loose just weren't screwed on properly? No one piece has wiggled loose more than once. The Loctite may just have been more a peace of mind thing than a necessity. Thoughts?
  12. Nick helped me this time around, not sure who setup the bow originally. The string stop and string guard are both on from factory I believe, logic would say things were lose straight from the factory right?
  13. Landscaping was what I was told. I adjusted using the little screw that holds the pin. No logical way that could have affected anything. The vibrations from shooting the bow over and over caused the issue. I also had them replace the biscuit with a drop away. They were super helpful, they retightened every screw with blue loctite. The bow is shooting even better than before. Since this is the second time something has come lose on the bow I asked him what the next steps would be if it happened a third time, warranty send in was the answer.
  14. Going to head out there this morning, will update thread.
  15. String Stop/Stabilizer, whisker biscuit, and the Cable Rob/Slide would all be considered accessories right? It was fine at the shop and fine out in the field for a few hours.
  16. The accessories were coming loose. I live in New Windsor area, maybe ill check out B and B next time.
  17. 100%, I'm not pissed in anyway, more shocked that it's this easy for a bow to fall apart.... Good to know there should be no damage though. I'm going to bring it by tomorrow, I'm sure they will make it right. All my impressions of them so far has been they are good people. I did, close to 2 dozen times. When I got it home I took around 100 shots before it started to come apart.
  18. Sheet happens, I actually asked for Dave. They told me he was no longer with them.
  19. I honestly don't know. I was so focused on figuring out why my shots we arcing to the right.
  20. Bowtech Carbon Zion. I'm not sure who did the install to be honest, there were multiple people working at the shop. Will take a picture tonight. I left the bow as is as I dont want to to touch it. There is no possible way I could have caused this by shooting for a few hours... is there?
  21. If it was, it was nothing major that made me think anything was wrong.
  22. This shop came highly recommended and have been great so far. I'm thinking maybe its something with the bow?
  23. How do you think I feel, part of me thinks the guy over at the shop thinks I'm lying.... At the same time though, who the hell would take apart a bow and complain about it... lol
