I called the Town Clerk 1st to make sure I could do it . I handed her my card and she printed out the Bow and ML tags as well as the Doe permits and an extra Back Tag . Your license number remains the same year after year .

Orton was retired and the Bills got him to play another year . I think he was enjoying retirement and wanted his health during that time . I would like to have seen him playing with this new group !

Well Ralph was cheap and didn't spend a lot on players . Terry Pegula has opened his wallet and brought in some hopeful players . What I can't understand is Marshawn Lynch ( The Beast ) didn't do so well with the Bills but is thriving in Seattle . I guess he was only in Buffalo because he had to be and didn't want to get fined !

I'm okay . I have from Oct 1 - Dec 22 to take deer . I have been retired since 1998 and work part time a couple days a week . Any doe in the freezer is fine .

Just don't revert to the Ancient Bills with the old run , run , pass, and punt ! Let's hope Matt Cassel shows up as I have no faith in EJ ............

Havn't gotten my Lifetime License tags in the mail yet . I went up to the town hall and presented my LT Card and got my free Bow and Muzzle Loader tags plus doe permits for 8H and 8F ..... Also had her print out an additional Back Tag . She gave me a Regulations Booklet . Life is good !

I sometimes Bow Hunt and gun hunt in Pittsford , just North of the thru-way . I have had a couple of the soccer moms blare their horns and shake their fists when driving by and I am in my camo . I had thought of making a bogus call to Lonsberry and say that I wanted to thank the lady who blasted her horn when driving by my vehicle . I hadn't seen a deer all day and when she blasted the horn on her SUV , 2 doe jumped up in the high grass and I was able to shoot both of them . Thanks for the help ! But then , the snobs in Pittsford probably don't listen to WHAM .

If Joe Shopper bought something at the store that was on clearance and sold it for a profit .... fine . But if a store employee was given an employee discount and sold for a profit , I would consider that unethical .

The OP wasn't about reducing inventory . It was about getting an employee discount and selling to make a profit . If it was my store and someone did that , they would be looking for a new job . Unethical !

They eat a lot of soybeans but at least they don't have a blah Tofu taste ! A farmer in Penfield called me last summer and asked if I would be interested in taking a doe out of his crop field . I jumped at the chance and got a nice doe . Took the pressure off for the upcoming Bow Season .

I have always been under the impression that if you shoot does , the bucks will extend their range looking for doe . Seems like that would increase the odds of getting a buck when the time comes .

No ..... It is done with center fire rifles prior to Archery Season .

Well , to add fuel to the fire , my sons and I take doe during the summer with Crop Damage Permits . I got my foot in the door when a Farmer was interviewed on tv complaining out losing thousands of dollars in crops due to deer . Many hunters look down on this but the farmer doesn't get enough deer taken . There are a few other guys who also take deer off of the guys farm fields .

Wondering how many stand or sit when shooting a deer with a bow . I practice both ways in the back yard and have a 10' ladder stand to shoot from . I have to stand to shoot at my 30 yard target as I have a cable from a tree to a post for my bird feeder and Bug Zapper . I would hit the line if I was sitting down . I place a bag target 20 from the stand yards and shoot sitting . If you can't shoot both ways , there is a chance of getting busted if you move when a deer approaches . Camo may help hide you but movement will get you busted !
