    I can't wait any deer out to 150yds ain't safe My 870 is dialed in using sst sabots.

    Ill tell ya this if i was walking on my property with my kids and a dog tried to attack us i would not hesitate to defend myself or my kids.. even if i was alone hunting id still do the same thing...a dog chasing deer is one thing. attacking a person is a whole differant thing.. dogs that are wild are more dangerous than any coyote. coyotes are scared of people dogs ain't... around here there is a leash law and people abide bye it....

    Nothing like bein in the woods in the dark and hearing trees breaking and cracking that will Wake you up for sure...i wonder how do the deer react to those kind of sounds especially if they are on high alert already

    If you have bow tags . by all means get after them... other wise id just leave it be till Saturday morning and then give them a wake up call

    Maybe sub forums. .. would like to see a sub forum for guys hunting say schoharie bern, albany and have it go to saratoga. Then the guys hunting the adirondacks have there own sub forum. and the guys in the lower part of ny say Long island and westchester counties have there own to..just a idea might be easier to figure out The rut activitys in certain areas to that way

    Iam ready....can't wait for saturday to get here just hoping the weather holds but it don't matter ill still be out there .

    Na not my first season..but its the first deer with my new hoyt. Shot a lot of deer with my mathews 6.5...in the past so i was glad to get one with the new bow

    i only have problems with trespassers during gun they get dropped off bye atvs or bye cars and walk on the property.. even with all the bright yellow posted signs up

    The rut around here in 4b is goin good my buck i got the other day stunk you could smell him 15ft away..deer are still chasing hard..lets all just hope we don't have a freak warm spell..that might slow it down

    I can't wait eaithier.. goin after the big buck i missed with the bow..i haven't been back to that spot since... i plan on bein there Saturday morning..that's why iam making sure the gun is on what better way to break it in than on a nice buck

    I've only shot my new 870 8 times just bought it a couple weeks ago. my other slug gun is sighted in the 870 i still wanna shoot atleast a couple more times just to make sure its all set..if it wasn't new i wouldn't be shooting it

    My wife and daughter chopping up my buck I've beeb with my wife for 14 years not many woman do what she does. Iam glad my kids are into hunting to ...this deer had some nice back straps ...
