  1. Found this recipe may give it a go on a nice toasted hero with melted provolone on top. Well I think my Sunday is planned.....Time to get the beer on ice. https://community.legendarywhitetails.com/recipes/crock-pot-italian-venison-roast/

  3. Hey All, During this lock down I've been craving an Italian beef sandwich. I have a football roast in the freezer from this years deer, and was wondering if anyone has every made these from this cut? If so do you have a recipe to share? BK
  4. I agree I believe my form is good, but you never know. Even with all the issues I am finding I was still shooting field point into a pie plate at 50-60 yards. Really looking forward to seeing how all this work improves my groups. I just ordered some arrows and am hoping to build them and tune the bow correctly. Seems like I am on hold though for a few.
  5. Yes, all seems to be in good order with that. I like drawing 70# so I would prefer to keep it there.
  6. I'm a bow hunter so I want my set up for hunting.
  7. I may have fat fingered that. Just re-ran the app with 6.5 as the brace height and it came back as under spined. The arrow does sit pretty far out from the rest so I ran another calculation cutting an inch off which helps a little. I think best thing to do here is build a new arrow set up and start from scratch. Hope to keep you guys tuned. I was looking at the axis arrows, but they look sold out. Any other suggestions for this set up. FMJ are nice but not sure if I should try something new.
  8. With that, I will try playing around with the rest a little more tonight and see how it goes.
  9. And these bow specs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yea I have these entries Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So I downloaded the pinwheel app and entered all my info information the prime centergy and am getting different values then the above unless I’m using the app wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm going to give that a try this afternoon. Work picked up after I created this post so after I was able to retie the rest to the limb I got swamped. Thanks for running those numbers for me! I will give the 100 grain point a go and report back.
  13. My draw length is 27.75 but again, not sure if this was set 100% accurate so will measure in the draw board (it does feel right when I draw back and anchor). I'm shooting 70# with easton FMJ 28.5 inch from the through of the nock to end of carbon with a 340 spine. I have a 125 grain point upfront.
  14. The more I dig into this the more and more I get upset about how this shop set up this bow. On the flip side I'm happy I am learning all of this and can set it up correctly. It looks like the tied the string directly to a bolt that comes off of the end of the limb. I need to retie the limb cable, but if I am short on string can I order any D loop cord? I haven't moved the rest down yet I am thinking this could impact arrow flight slightly and don't want to chase my tail.
  15. I will try lowering the rest and give it another shot.
  16. Bow shop....The one which is out of business......Think this was just a piss poor job. This is why I want to do all my own work, but so lost.
  17. I think from what I am reading limb driven is different
  18. Thanks! Any idea on the timing question I am having above. To me it looks like my rest is fully engaged with roughly 9 inches of pull left in my draw cycle.
  19. I guess there wouldn't be if my nock point doesn't change right? it would just change the way the arrow sits at full draw?
  20. No the launcher does not fall forward, it is a vapor trail drop away rest that gets pulled straight down. The more I ask questions I think I'm gonna be tuning this bow forever. Now I am not sure if the rest is timed properly as it is all the way engaged up with roughly 9 more inches of draw pull so not sure if that is correct now too.
  21. So my rest is fully up with about 9 inches of draw length to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yea this shop is now out of business so that says a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
