I have 1 stand I've shot plenty of deer out of and 87 is maybe 30 yards behind me. Never had one run out into the road.

So 2 weeks ago i ordered a boyds thumbhole stock for my savage axis. They took the money out then put it back in then took it out again. a day ago the money was put back in and i was talking with a co-worker today about it and he told me that thumbhole stocks are now illegal in NY. So i looked it up and saw all the BS about your gun not have more than 2 (illegal) features otherwise you need to register it. I'm so tired of ny.......i mean really, me putting a thumbhole stock on a hunting rifle with a detachable mag makes my gun an "assault " weapon. Stuff like this makes me just wanna leave the state for good. AND i didn't even get an email or anything from boyds saying my order was cancelled.

I was looking into getting a kill light for my 22-250 and was looking around and didn't realize how much they were. I remember somebody on these forums used to make some pretty good ones but i cant find the post about them. Just wondering what lights people recommend.
