Just giving an update on the buck I shot yesterday morning. Spent pretty much all day yesterday and all this morning trying to find anymore blood. Found one big splatter on a rock then the trail went dead. Tracked the blood for a mile and a half into the golf course and wondered around in the wood searching and found nothing. I'm hoping if he made it that far then he might live. This kinda thing makes me sick to my stomach.

No more blood and I've been walking around for miles.this sucks

Going to head over to the course and ask. I found the half with the fetching and there was little blood on the arrow and 2 white hairs found. didn't see any blood where I shot em but maybe...70 yards where he jumped the rock wall is where it started. Normal looking blood, not bright and not dark. No fat or anything else was found on the arrow either.

It's a private golf course. I mean I was finding very little blood at that point.

Had a nice buck bed down 30 yards to my left for about half an hour. When he stood up he gave me a nice broadside shot. I took it and he bolted! Called the wife on the walkie and told her to come over their n an hour and help me track.found my arrow broken in half, only found the one side.so we tracked....4 hours later the blood seemed really faint and he crossed over to property I don't have permission to be on. My guess is I must have grazed his chest a little low. First one I've ever not found.

Too damn hot. I'm setup near a bedding area so I hope one the the bucks I seen this morning comes over to take a nap.

Exciting morning so far. Had 2 nice bucks sneak past me 30 yards away in some thick brush. A button buck right in front of me for a half hour. Then a raccoon under the stand and a doe off to my left playing with her 2 fawns. Then a big Fischer I think it was climbs over the rock wall in front of me.

$1800......that's not bad. Is that including lodging and food ? I would LOVE to do something like this.

Was out on frog hollow road in beekman making deliveries and saw they finally must have gotten approved for everything because they have deer behind the fences. Agreed. I wouldn't trust anything unless it was on paper but I'm still curious if they are gonna say anything about them at the class
