Got out late this am, nice and cold.. Heard a doe wheeze upwind about 5 min ago.... Never a good sign

Had 2 doe and a fawn walk by 30 yards at 7:10, where is the buck I've been getting pictures of? ....:-/

Saw something through the scrub brush this am around 7, stayed out til about 11 when the neighbor felt the need to go four wheeling and wood cutting. After hearing chainsaws and a jeep for a half hour, called the quits and made some smoked chicken for the rest of the afternoon. Hopefully all the idiots go back to work tomorrow and I can see some action in the am. Anyone else going out tomorrow?

@ 5PM he was only in his stand 16 minutes past legal hunting times, sunrise to sunset, sunset was at 4:44 today. I see where he was fearful to go down and get shot at by some idiot with a brown and down attitude. DEC isn't always the bad guy, but if he were to finish the doe off he does put himself into a grey area of getting in trouble. Just my two cents, either way the jackass shouldn't have been shooting that late.

Has been real quiet here, normally it sounds like the fourth of July. The wind has been pretty steady all day forecast said 10mph, I believe it. The yotes were going crazy this morning around 5 so makes me wonder if the deer have been skiddish with the wind and their activity this am.

Just had a nice 4 walk through, hope he makes it through the year. His main beams were good sized.
