I have used and tried alot of climbers and I settled on a treewalker treestand only 18 lbs. and easy setup. they sell them at the Suffern outdoors show every year real comfortable!!

Since your a new hunter now is the time to start a hunt dairy, put in the times of rubs,sightings and scrapes also weather conditions moon phase and if I leave out anything maybe someone else can add to it .This has been one of the most valuable assets I have used in all my years of hunting and it can be yours too if you choose to do it ! Good luck next year and never give up because when you least expect it ,,,, BAM it all comes together.......DEER DOWN !!

I PUT A PATCH ON THE RAMROD PUSH IT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BORE AND SNAP A CAP,THEN EXAMINE THE PATCH AND IT SHOULD BE BURNT PRETTY GOOD THEN I AM READY TO GO HOPE THIS HELPS

I have been aware of this since its inception and couldnt agree more with VJP all you have to do is read and listen and not have an opinion untill you hear all the facts ! Well thats my 2cents and I am standing by it !

just wanted to say hi and a little about me. Been in the woods since about 9 yrs old and love to hunt and fish. My DAD whose is gone now taught me everything I needed to know about being a sportsman and gave me a true love of the outdoors. That being said I am from brooklyn , n.y. and have hunted all over the state using bow ,gun and muzzeloader and after a friend Steve 7 told me about this site I had to join. After all I am a new york hunter ! So hello to all and am looking forward to enjoying all your great posts . Thanks Tony...
