Does anyone consider a guided hunt REAL HUNTING ? I do everything myself scout, pick out a spot or stillhunt and I enjoy the fact that I DID IT ! Now i do not judge others on the method with which they chose to hunt just wondering what you guys think..And in some areas you must have a guide if your not a resident ...all my hunts are DIY MOSTLY PUBLIC LAND ...

So it seems that democrates are not only anti-gun they are anti hunting ... i will remember that come election time...

What if you were in camo 40 yds past the deer in the field and just inside the woods and the shooter shot at the deer in the field ? Directly towards you but could not see you because of your camo .I think b/o would make you stand out ...NO ? YES ? just wonderin .....

Just my 2 cents on this subject when i started hunting red was the color everyone used then yellow became popular now it is blaze orange. The way I see it it is just a progression to try to be Safer while outdoors. While some point out who is safer I say we all are, not just the shooter but the target too. If you as the shooter dont shoot at or in my direction belive me I'm all for it ! This debate will go on and on but we as hunters and outdoorsman should embrace all the tools at our disposal to become safer in the woods. If by chance you choose not to wear b/o this is your choice and if I choose to wear it or be a advicate of it that is my choice...doesn't make me right but makes me feel safer.

If the people that make the laws just lived amongst us then maybe they would understand why we believe in the 2nd amendment. Let them come to brownsville or east new york and walkaround those neighborhoods they will wish they had a gun then.!

Just my opinon but a butcher i bring my deer to showed me deer gutted out that had mud and debris, urine and deer droppings still inside the body cavity. Most hunters don't clean their deer properly. Every year same thing ! So how can it taste as good as a properly gutted deer ? I agree with Early preparation is the key.

i have not touched my dads guns since he passed in 2006 i will look at them as soon as i can and let you know but i think it is mdl 92 in great condition. He knew his guns like i said and he has some real beautys one gun he never was able to get was a drilling ...which he thought was awesome .. thanks for the input guys and for stirring up geat memories about my Dad...really !! Thank you it is an awesome gun. Most new hunters never get the chance to see the old winchesters as collectors buy them up . I also have a winchester takedown in 32\20 cal.My dad knew his guns.

it is orignal winchester my dad bought it in the 50s when i was a kid . ive been using it for about 40 years. have old brass about 3 boxes just dont know a reloader .

Winchester model 71 lever action .348 cal light gun peep sight kills em Dead..... only problem is $ 90.00 a box of shells.
