actually it's "wanton waste".....sorry, but that has always annoyed me. http://www.touchngo.com/lglcntr/akstats/statutes/title16/chapter30/section010.htm

if it were me, and all stoves were relatively the same, I would go for the one that accepts the largest logs..........
-
I would guess that for each person caught, there is at least two who aren't.......and that's being generous.
-
maybe it's to appease the people who whine and complain that they do nothing...I'm sure they get calls from all the crybabies who accuse them of doing nothing, so they put it out there for them to see. Looks to me like a lot of enforcement is done for what they have to work with, and all that on top of the nonsense calls they have to answer as well.

while I hear what you're saying, I don't think you can put the title of "expert" on something that you are constantly learning....if it's something like a skill, then maybe you can assume that title. I've been hunting for 30+ years, and although I may consider myself knowledgeable, I am certainly no expert because I have an open mind and learn something new all the time.

I guess when you think about it, Obama and Cuomo would be considered experts in their field.....not many can argue that they are very good at what they do......how's that working out?
-
that's my question, at what point does one graduate from being "knowledgeable" in a certain field to being an "expert" in it?
-
yeah, but the colored flames are pretty neat to look at......

I would choose the Nikon if those were my three choices.............
-
nice guns, my Dad has one in 7x57 which is a pleasure to shoot and very light to carry.........I have one in .243 which has zero recoil.
-
yep, I have a Ruger Ultralight in .308...not sure of the weight offhand, but it is brutal to shoot for any length of time.
-
good to see you wake up every two weeks and offer up some useless input....keep up the good work.

Town of Brookhaven......Patchogue to be exact.

yeah, it's pretty bad......this is in front of my house down on L.I. a couple days ago, about three feet of water mixed with snow...they had to send a payloader to clear clear out the ice and snow that was blocking the storm drain. I went out there earlier to try and clear it by hand and went through a snowbank that quickly filled with water and soaked me up to my waist.........I can't describe the feeling, made me think how bad it must be to fall through the ice into a frozen lake, luckily I only had to endure it for about a minute.
-
yeah, this whole thing had me shaking my head by page two..........it wasn't just one act, but an entire course of actions that made this really stand out in my mind. It wasn't just, "hey son sit on my lap and steer the car"....it was more like "hey son steer the car while I open our beers and if the cops stop us we'll let Aunt Judy slide over and say she was driving"........"oh, and I don't have a driver's license so don't say anything."...........and they wound up getting caught, after dear old dad put it out on social media, and the fathers response was "goddang it, this was the proudest day of mah life and all you folks is just jealous"

I bought two display models a few years ago for the price of one brand new stove.......one went into my home, the other in the place upstate...definitely worth going that route.
-
that was meant to be sarcastic......guess it missed its target.
