As of 10/24 ... 8G Alabama / Alden Lots of scrapes popping up Few rubs here n there Daylight activity still last 30 min of light / first .... Doe's mixed with small bucks... No big buck sightings since 1st week of season .... New bucks showing up at night on scrapes.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Seriously , I think some folks up here are a little mislead about quartering a deer that day n letting it set in a well iced cooler with the plug pulled to prevent sitting in water .... How I've always done both here and back home down south ... Doe I shot this year was hands down best tasting deer I've shot yet , now that had a lot to do with age and shat she was stuffing down her throat , but non the less quartered and in the cooler in less than an hour , and processed myself 2days later ... Just looked at "slim" to confirm , and yes I was in fact on state land by four to five hundred yds !! Creek was the border , and I was on STATE LAND side of the creek , f'n pissed , I'm gonna have to park in another spot away from there n go in the back way , move trees so they don't look for me in that one , cause I'm not thrilled about giving up one of my number one stands that is LEGAL to be there !!!! Truck was within view with binos but leaves on trees I could only see a little bit... Heard them talking very loudly and walking around my truck , I climbed down with the climber in no time flat thinking they were f'n with my truck ... Left pack n bow up in tree ... By the time I started walking to the truck here they come walking towards me .... I thought they were hunting squirrel at first until I saw the AK and large caliber rifle .... Had to go climb back up n grab my stuff n figure out how I was going to strap the bow to my pack that is not meant for a bow strapped on , but I'll be dammed if I was going to lower my bow with them at the base of the tree while I climbed down, but I made it work ! Once back at the truck , young one says take your bow off n lay it next to your stand on the ground , I glared at him n said , no ... No I think I'll hang onto it until the cops get here! Shady !!!!! Rely a shame ... Shot this guy from that tree 2 years ago ... And have a 10 pt on cam just about in daylight patterns the past couple days ..... As soon as they said they were going to take my bow, oh as?(;, that lit a fire under my ass .... Then my truck ! Over my dead body , I was either leaving there with everything or a bullett somewhere .... But kept my cool n kept talking hoping I could BS my way out of a tight spot .... Cops said in no way is it legal to take my property , they were trying to feed me a load of crap saying I could get my stuff back for 500 bucks ! Right lol, and in what condition?!
