Either sex if you want to use it on a buck is for bow only this year regardless of doe only first two weeks or muzzy if your in the zone .... I know your in bow only area , but , to sum it up..... Here we go .... Doe only first two weeks and muzzy .... Either sex bow only for buck! Antler less tag bow/muzzy .... Regular season tag ( regular season BUCK only) even if bow only..... Couple lone doe's early this morning , then a nuckle head that stalked his way into me , waved my orange hat at him , paused , then took 15 minutes to creep by me at 50 yds , smh.... Evening , one doe and a small buck about n hour before last light ... Again , caught movement and see another person ( small , no bow but in camo) come creeping by , diff property , again wave my little orange hat and whistle , they pause and proceed to walk around for 20 minutes within sight ... Wtf !!! I courteous enough to get outa there , go the other direction , or scoot on by as quick and quietly as possible if I run into another hunter , these f'rs missed that day in class... Not the best for movement in general and kinda sucks to sit through , but as others have stated I've taken not a lot but a few good bucks during windy rainy days ... Odds aren't great but it happens ... However , this kinda wind (don't know where your located) is downright ridiculous at gust of 40 - 60 here in WNY ... I'm taking the day off for some much needed R & R , and I think they'll be moving good Saturday morning as the winds lay down quite a bit and temps back down in the 30's with the pressure coming back up ... Been watching the pressure closely this year and I'm a believer so far as the days I've had opportunities at both shooter bucks have been pressures of 30.2 or higher .... I've killed bucks as soon as October 11th and as late as the day before gun and in between during bow... As far as I'm concerned on public land that's hunting ... Pretty much have the place to myself ( 4 diff state lands) , rarely run into other hunters , and can actually pattern deer... All that goes by the way side once I pull the gun out .... 1st weekend of gun I hunt seriously , but after that , I still go , but turns into mostly a scouting mission for next year , and o have killed deer that way but just not the same ..... So do or die for me during bow on state land during bow, after that , mostly luck that you get a deer bumped to you ...... Ugh want to throw up just thinking about all that orange s$&@ everywhere in the woods in less than two weeks .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gotta hit it hard in bow before the orange army rapes public land and its dam near impossible to see a deer during daylight unless bumped ... Especially after having two close calls on shooter bucks and it didn't work out .... Times a tickin now n I'm gettin a little anxious... But has to be up there around 60-70 + ... dAMNIT!!!!' Just made a quick move to get away from the duck hunters in a river bottom that these bucks like to cruise on the downwind side of the creek sniffing the bedding across it.... No sooner do I hang my pack n reach to pull the bow up here comes my shooter 8!!! I'm screwed with bow on the ground and he goes under me at 5 fricken yards without a care in the world .... Lol.... I love duck hunting , grew up hunting down in the Everglades , haven't hunted em in a few years cause it coincides with deer season !!! Over here at Iroquois refuge n I've seen probly 20 + flights of 15-30 ducks within shotgun range of my tree...
