    If you guys have time post some links of some good looking rifles I know there tons out there but hey.. Throw some ideas around. Wouldn't mind seeing what one of you would pick out I might even go with it. Thats just one rifle I was looking at. Im in no rush.

    Heres one I keep coming back too. Not only do I like the wood coler but it has a thumb hole for easy grip. Along with the acuutrigger . Can't find many reveiws on the firearm though.

    Well I do have a 30-06 I was looking for something smaller but still effective. I'm looking into a couple nice Savage Arms due to the fact I love the accutrigger reveiws and the few savage arms rifles I have are great and i've never had problems with them.

    Nice picture and deer adkbuck. I would love to own a Browning. I was watching youtube videos on guys shooting deer past 500 yards with no problem. I'm not looking to do that myself but I would like to practice at that range.

    I'm starting to lean to the 270. And DOC no longer than 500 yards for target only on a huge farm that I would rarely shoot at. I will mainly hunt deer with it. Its going to be my christmas gift from my mother so i'm looking to get a wood stock bolt action rifle that I can hunt a lifetime with.

    I'm sort of looking for that all in one rifle. Long range good power but not a overload. When I shot my doe with the 30-06 the front shoulders were allready burger meat lol.

    I seen a few SIG's on sale at gander mountian. 38 special 9mm. Both good choices in my book. Good luck on your search.

    This is one of them chevy vs ford threads, and I know this is all on opinion and what fits the shooter best but... I'm looking for a flat shooting rifle caliber not as big as a 30-06 but good for deer and good for a solid long shot. I'm going to be buying one in the next week or two and just trying to make it a dream of a hunting rifle for me. I read a lot of people say go for a 243. If you were me what would you be looking at??

    Had a foxpro call work so well it scared the guy I brought with me off when the dogs starting coming in making some noise. It was great he was saying "Lets get out of here" with his gun on his shoulder. Ooo man lol.

    Yea i'm going to be calling a local gunsmith the trigger pull has caused me to not like my gun so much. I hope it comes back working like a dream.

    Horrific triiger meaning its to strong of a trigger pull? Thats the case with my 30-06 I love the cailber but HATE the pounds on the trigger pull I think it's near 7.. I want about 3.

    I saw a pistol made for zombies at gander mountain and almost wanted to ask the clerk if it were a bad joke. A Sig 38. special. They make these guns look and sound like toys and then wonder why morons use them like that.

    HomeMade tomahawk and I love this thing lol strongly made too I was sticking it in some dead trees and throwing it around for a while.

    Funny thing is I own a diamond razor edge and love it. And yea I know its for "Girls and youth" lol but I love mine and use it all the time. It will make a super good bow to learn with and has tons of options for draw length and pull weight or what not.

    Lot of nice things guys. I got to get a picture of this homemade tomahawk I received to see what you think. I love the thing. And the garmin e-trex 30 stay away from it unless you wanna buy a 60 dollar map for were you live. I'm taking it back and putting a 243. on layaway. Can't wait either lol.

    Do I need a 30 round clip... Heck yea, so when some wacko comes along with there 10 shot 22 I can easily out gun them. To the OP I support you and the cause and 100%.

    I got a garmin e-trex 30 today and realized I had to buy a map pack for it. Has anyone had to buy one and if so which one. I saw one called topo for all of northeast and I saw one called birdseye. Anyone have any input?
