NEW YORK STATE -- The nation's strictest gun law is seeing its first legal challenge. The State Rifle and Pistol Association has filed a notice of claim to overturn New York’s sweeping gun control law, the NY SAFE Act. The claim takes issue with the gun control law and its updated ban on assault weapons, challenging the constitutionality of the measure. In the notice of claim, the association says the law violates the U.S. Constitution’s Commerce Clause, as well as violations of due process and unlawful seizure of property. The law has new restrictions on the private sale of firearms and requires registration of previously unregistered assault weapons. The claim also says that “the legislation is impermissibly vague and overboard.” A claim like this is generally a precursor to a full-blown lawsuit. To read the notice of claim, visit www.nysrpa.org/files/SAFENoticeOfClaim.pdf.

Are you the maker of the craft. Meaning do you have the talent to say work on the wood stock of a shotgun? -
I'll pay for it to be shipped. And give ya 70 bucks for them.

Flooding continues to be a major concern along the Salmon River in Malone. Emergency officials say a three thousand foot ice jam continues to block the flow of the river, forcing water onto Lower Park Street. MALONE, N.Y. -- Flooding continues to be a major concern along the Salmon River in Malone. Emergency officials say a three thousand foot ice jam continues to block the flow of the river, forcing water onto Lower Park Street. Six homes have now flooded and a total of eight homes without power have been evacuated. Emergency officials sent us updated photos of the damage caused by the flood. They say the flooded homes have about two feet of standing water on the main floor. The ice buildup has also moved some small buildings in the area. Lower Park Street, which is used by many as an access to two of the town's state prisons, remains closed. This area has seen flooding problems before, but officials say this is the worst they've ever seen. They say they'll continue to monitor the situation and are hopeful that warmer weather this week will help.

It happens to the best of us. I still can't get past the camera guy he was more upset than the shooter himself. I had some crazy storys from this year it's all good times though. -

Lol gun was unloaded. Idk if I would rather miss the shot or never have a bullet to take the shot. But the camera man was the best part. I was dying laughing even though I felt a bit for the guy. -
Thoughts On A Reasonable Bow-Was Looking At Martin Threshold
HuntOrBeHunted replied to 13BVET's topic in Bow Hunting
Depending on your height a bowtech razor edge is a great choice. Now they say that's a youth bow but it is so adjustable it fits adults just fine after a little bit of tuning in. There out there brand new for about 250-300 bucks. I have mine set at 65 pounds and 27 inch draw and it's sweet. I shot it so many times last year without a flaw. And will be using it for years to come. -
I can tell you I much rather be the camera man on this hunt lmao. O man...

Nice harvest and big yote for sure. What were you using for a call primos??

Pretty cool. A few years back I saw a dead deer stuck knee high in ice while getting to my ice fishing spot.
