ALL 10+ SHOT MAGAZINES ARE GONE
HuntOrBeHunted replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
We are being bullied by the government. And the criminals are loving it because they will out gun us. They made herion and meth illegal did it take that off the street? -
Yes sit in trees now they realize. Like I said on another thread they were saying o are they taking your guns away a week ago and now the answer clearly is.. Yes they are and your mags and your ammo.. Them people should feel like a @ss and just hand their guns over since their not fighting for the right to own them. Sad state, and the new set of laws will make NY have the strictest gun laws in the US I do believe. So now even the bad guys will have more bullets in there weapon then us. HA what a joke.

HuntOrBeHunted replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
We all have turned to criminals in the past 15 minutes. Any clip holding more then 7 is banned. So one could only think that about 99% of us have a 22. with a freakin 10 shot clip. Can't believe this mess. -

State Senate passes gun control legislation By: Learn how. install Adobe Flash 9 or above. Install now. Then come back here and refresh the page. ALBANY, N.Y. -- For weeks, legislative leaders and Governor Andrew Cuomo have been negotiating a package of gun control measures. And exactly 30 days after the Newtown school shooting, the governor sent lawmakers a 78 page bill. "This is a scourge on society, people have had to live through these tragedies, tragedy after tragedy and people have to ask themselves at what point so you get it? At what point so you say enough?" Governor Cuomo asked. The bill bans assault weapons, including those manufactures before 1994. That's when New York State last banned assault weapons and guns prior to that date were grandfathered in. "I think the message out there is clear after Newtown to get us down this road as quickly as possible to basically eradicate assault weapons from our streets in New York as quickly as possible," said Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver. The legislation will limit magazines or clips to seven rounds. There are also several provisions in the bill requested by republicans. Senator Tom Libous said, "Listen, there have been a number of issues that were discussed over the last 30 days on this bill. We had been fighting for things we believe in and they were tougher penalties for people who commit a crime with a gun. Tougher penalties for people with mental illness." The bill expands Kendra's Law ,which gives judges discretion over treatment for mental illness, including involuntary commitment. Governor Cuomo says Newtown and an incident in Western New York where firefighters were shot and killed prompted him to act quickly. "I think after what happened in Connecticut and what happened at home here in Webster, this issue jumped to the forefront. I think the people of the state said they want something done and they want so something done right away," Cuomo said. This was the first action on any piece of legislation by the new legislature. A signature piece of Governor Cuomo's State of the State Address last week, this now allows Cuomo to focus on his other priorities for the session. I don't normally go for carp unless im just trying to burn some time but when I fish in the winter ice or not it's mostly for northern pike. Live bait works wonders.

What time of year to scout and hang stands.
HuntOrBeHunted replied to Hunting3m's topic in Deer Hunting
I scout everytime i'm in the woods. Now with the snow it's great to see were the deer have been. I note what food plots are getting hit hardest and what ones are getiting the least amount of traffic. As far as stands thats months away for me. But keep in mind everyone does things different. Good luck. -
Good to see there still in your area. I had no luck while my camera was in video mode. It took one video clip and then shut off. Nice pics.

Is Martial Law On The Horizon?
HuntOrBeHunted replied to 13BVET's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
People should be able to post a link of a video on this site and not have others jump down there throat about it. If you dont like what you read proceed to a thread your in to. Disagreeing with someone is fine but the sad thing is we are all the gun owners that the other side hates. We should all be standing on the same side of things. Gun control could be as simple as making bullets 150 dollars a box who has that type of money not me. We need to stand as one or we will fail. Your not a "Crazy person" for not trusting the government, or thinking that they surly would LOVE to see us dis armed. As would many other countries that know it weakens us a nation. If we have gun owners fighting gun owners were already beating are-selfs. -

I just felt like he's showing true pride and willingness to fight for are right's. Whitch it seems like a lot of people just won't do but will be the quickest one to want to hunt or target shoot. And it's about time someone turn to Piers Morgan an put his faults into light. Notice how he didn't speak a word nor did he want to hear about his case in his "Home-country". Plus NY has some of the strongest gun laws as it is what more do they really want. Think about how many things we can't have or how many ways we can't make are gun look do to the current gun laws that are strick as he!! we better hope more people start speaking out soon or we will really only be able to own a shotgun or two. And at 300 yards away you might as well shoot yourself.
