    Well based on Radar it looks like we have a 1.5hr rain delay. Nice to have a blind to wait it out. Pop tart time

    Would bet the effect against wind is similar. Slows arrow which means more drop by time it arrives to target but again probably nothing noticeable unless long distance. With wind I bet it has near 0 effect.

    Theoretically wind pushes fletching causing arrow to move into wind (not what most expect). But I agree with others. Reasonable wind at reasonable distances is not something I would worry about.

    It just struck me but we have shot a good buck from the stand Gary scored from yesterday on the morning of the last Sat in October in 2016, 2017, 2018 and now 2019. Gotta be a trend if not a pattern.

    Back in the stand. Rain stopped. Wind is swirling in this hilly area but I don’t think a shooter will pass through my living room. Grampy staying and coming back out shortly.

    Well we almost pulled a double from the same stand. Since they were chasing where Gary shot the buck this morning, I put my other buddy (not grampy) in the same stand for PM. He had a “monster 8” come in and arrow de-nocked on draw. That would have been pretty cool. Still hoping grampy connects. He has seen 2 really nice bucks just not quite in range. Me, I saw a spike this afternoon but great day. Food ain’t interesting the boys any more.
