  1. http://www.syracuse.com/outdoors/index.ssf/2015/01/suny_esf_prof_coyotes_are_everywhere_in_nys_but_overall_impact_on_deer_is_minima.html#incart_river Study that happened.
  2. When the DEC put it on the table to open it all year, it was met head on by many groups. And I stood behind those groups!
  3. Quite a bit. Most of the land around here are deer hunters and farmers who like dead coyotes.
  4. I love running fox. Problem is snow gets too deep here and they hole up quick.
  5. I never patterned it. I know it knocks the crap out of turkeys. My buddies are surprised how far I can roll them with that gun.
  6. Actually, the more you take out the bigger litters they will have.
  7. I use just a simple rem 870 express mag with a turkey choke. I shoot 3 inch 00 or #4 buck. 30-50 yards.
  8. NOT ENOUGH! Killing too many. Over the weekend with the hounds
  9. Need to becareful because the dogs are usually right on them. We use shotguns or .22 mag. Nothing bigger.
  10. All just a dusting compared to this neck of the snowbelt.
  11. Hard to beat listening to a pack of beagles in full cry!

LOL Lawdwaz. Yes, he caught them by his self. I told him I use to have luck with crappies right before dark.

My 17 year old son hit the last hour of light last night. About an hour of fishing.
  15. Kurry, those are some nice prime mink. I wish I could be water trapping up here. Things are froze up tight and thick and the snow is deep on the ponds and along the roads. Lonny
  16. Fox and coyotes are breeding and getting bred now. Some of the fox are starting to blow apart on the sides. Coyotes are looking good still, but will be rubbed pretty quick.
  17. Good seeing you down to Von's Kludes. You had some nice fur.
  18. This is great news. We need to get a grip on these invasive species so they do not destroy the native wild and plant life. My hats of to Mike for the hard work on this and to every person and group who signed the petition in support of it.
  19. If ya do not mind Lawdawz who is that? There some pretty hard core trappers in the western part of Ny. My buddy does 100 K9'S every year. Good population out there. Phil Brown caught 1,002 K9'S in 48 checks. 6th time he has done that!
  20. Hey Kludes, see ya at Vons Saturday.
  21. Does not get much better than a beagle in full cry!
