Deer were moving early tonight. A wet sit but worth it. Saw a few sets of does and fawns. Gave them a pass.

My Dad has everyone since 1967. Has most of his licenses and quite a few old duck stamps also.

Funny. I have killed deer while tending to a coyote that I have caught!!

It was obviously made when the ground was soft. They tend to widen there feet out on soft ground and the mud helped to make it bigger.

I live in 6K. 7a nis about 5 miles from my house which is SZ. They have just as many if not more fishers there and no season. But I believe it will be open for the 2015 season.

I trap a few every year. They are set up for a killing machine. Long sharp nails and teeth.

The dec and biologist have been doing a fisher study for a few years. Seems the habitat that holds small game in the Adk. has been changing forcing the fisher to move south into the southern parts of the state.

I always thought the concept of traditional hunting season should be for recurves/long bows and traditional black powder. With todays advances it is not too traditional any more. So if we use compounds with fiber optic sights and muzzleloaders with scopes and easily shooting 150 yards why not use a crossbow? Just my opinion.

My Dad bought a Kioti. Owned several others and by far loves this one the best.
