i have pics of him 2 years ago i believe is the same buck i had him pegged as a 3 1/2.... i have other pics here that make me believe he is older then a 4 1/2, IMO i think hes deffinetly 5 1/2. what do you think? i have clearer pics of him, hard to tell by the ones i posted cause its a pic of a pic

sounds good dude im in. bow hunting is picking up quick by me. I had a very nice heavy horned 8 i let walk after i saw what my trail cam had on it the few nights before. I got a great buck working the area im in and i believe its only a matter of time until he shows up. i feel something is going down this weekend so im pumped! my buddy shot a nice 8 sunday, we lost him and can not even find blood. Its upsetting but it happens. the shot was marginal and did not produce a dead deer that we found. hes been looking for days and i even took a half day to help him look on monday. In his search today he came across a monster buck working in at 12 noon while he was looking for his hit deer. so things are picking up like they should

lol atleast if you fall asleep you still look awake... keep the sun behind you or flip the brim of your hat back to the front haha!

maybe cause you had your sun glass on... maybe the deer thought you were to cool for them?

your absolutely right now imagine using a flash cam... i actually have a nice buck whos been showing up and he looks right into the cam and doesnt seem to be to bothered by it. i actually get quite a few shots at a clip and sometimes 2 different times in one night. Ill take my chance with my IR it omits the IR very low so i like it.

i would be hesitant... i wouldnt risk the chance of the flash scaring off a buck and possibly him never coming into the area from a flash cam. Dont get me wrong i have flash cams that have cought some monsters but typically it was during the summer months and usually it was only one shot and then i would see him for a few days. im not to sure about this time of year but ill stick to my IR cam personally...

id spend it if i had it... LOl no i wouldnt.... lol thats alot of cheese

i love the character he has not to mention he is every bit of 5 1/2 to 6 1/2.... When i last saw him he was a high tined brute with some good mass. i would love to get my hands on him. he would make a great addition to my wall and my freezer

thanks guys! i hope hes still sticking with this group of doe i have that bedup not to far from my tree. this deer is eally tearin the place up with scrapes 4ft round and rubs and stuff. upon further inspection i have been trying to identify this buck as a buck i have gotten on cam about 2 years ago. Same tree and everything, i think hes so old he is starting to go the other way rack wise because he was bigger 2 years ago. In this area i have doe that have brought their yearlings to my tree for 2 seasons now and i know he knows where to find these first available doe. I really hope the weather is on my side this weekend to experience a great hunt and who knows maybe even catch this brute on a hot doe at 10 yards lol and yes this is long island

Joey congrats on the buck! finally we are starting to see some of these big boys doing what they are supposed to do. Im glad you were able to capitalize on this stud and on halloween none the less! Now you can go to Ohio this weekend and kill an even bigger one! like Joey stated these text messages going off really keep us in tune as to whats going on in the area and it sure paid off.
