Wow this hunt can not get any better, had a homless guy come in around 1 then left n came back in and now hes like knocking trees down. Whqt in the hell is he doing!? How is it my luck i want to see a mature buck n i see a mature hobo. Fml

things were popping off pretty good by me in 8W. atleast in my area... i was covered up in bucks and had many encounters of buck chasing doe in the few days i was up there. It all seemed to die down tho by the evening hunt on the second day, by the 3rd day things seemed to change big time. i missed twice at a beautiful 130 class 8 or 10 who came out on 2 doe, opening morn

wow that is some act to catch all on trail cam. im surprised it all took place right in front of that cam for the most part.

Small buck chasing doe past my tree first light. Nothing else so far...

Very productive day. Saw about 8 buck and a dozen doe... 3 spiks at once and a broken half rack 2 point. Kind of funny to see them all together. Going to double check for blood on that 130 class i shot at. So bummed about that, not like me to miss a 60 yard shot

I had the same spike come out to feed a few times in the field. Hope that big buck steps out again. Im in 8w by the way

Bummer for me! Glassed the field last night and saw about 10 deer around my tree in an open field. One huge buck, small 8 and a spike. I get in and hant sat this tree in awhile so it was in need of pruning. I no more then started pruning for 2 min and i had the 8 point feed right past me at less then 10 yards. I heard him breathing... I passed him hoping to see the big one and 40 min later 2 doe come out not 3 min later the 130" plus giant come out gives me a 65 yard broadside shot and i blow it! He bounds 30 yards i stop him and miss again! Somewhere in not being able to clear my lanes under this tree and pullin the shots i missed. Very disapointed... Hes sticking with the does so i hope he slips up tonight!

one thing is for sure, it sucks getting old... sorry to hear about your friend Burt, the times shared in the woods will be ones to remember!

spend $5 and go buy a bottle of scent shield detergent... stuff is great, so many products on the market for a cheap price to mess around with home stuff MHO...
