  4. Man not looking forward to stripping the vanes off brand new arrows. One of them Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  5. When I initial went to move left. I loosened the wrong screw. Adjusting the vertical. I took it inside kicking myself. Put it in the vise and using a small level got it back as close as I could. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  6. Disregard top right tear. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  7. I hold the bow with my left hand. Just to be clear. And draw with my right. Looking at tears online it stated move left for a right handed shooter... I didn't know if this meant bow hand or draw Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  8. First 3 arrows. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  9. Looks like I have 2 of the clamps. I'll look for more. Looks like it sells for 100$ Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks. I doubt I'll need it. So I'll be putting out to sell or trade or trash Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the cartridge identification. Yeah I won't be touching the Mauser. Gave it a light oil rub when I got the lamp a few months ago. Tempted to sell it. But the lamp is just too cool Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  12. Actually found the rifle. Mauser gewerhr mod 1871. Single shot. First Mauser adopted by the German army. And holy canoli they are going for 700+ on gunbroker. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  13. Few more of the rifle. Surprisingly all serial numbers match. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  14. Maybe this thread should be moved to general hunting? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  15. Might like this as well.... Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk The rifle still has the firing pin. And is a single shot cartridge of some sort
  16. Any idea what this is? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  17. Any of these full boxes worth saving? Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk Can anyone identify the large round? Got some 303 British.
  18. I should add that I believe this to be my grandfather's from the Korean War. Unfortunately I couldn't find the sheath. I also have a box of old ammunition I'm going to post pictures of. I doubt it's worth anything. But im sure I'm not the only one who likes old outdoors items Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  19. So I inherited some stuff from my grandmother's house due to her passing. Found a rusty old kabar. Stamped Camillus and usmc on the gaurd. From my googling it appears to be ww2-korean war era. I enjoy cleaning up rusty old blades. This was just a hunk of rust and I figured it was a cheap knockoff. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  20. I went with carbon express whitetails in 350 or. 0.339. Im hoping the drop from. 0.4 will be enough to correct the flight/tuneing issues. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk Also grabbed a pine Ridge arrow spinner. I looked up diy jobs and they didn't seem to spin very fluidly. Then looked at the bearing diy options. Which puts you in the pine Ridge price range
  21. I appreciate the advice and comments from everyone. Once the new arrows come in I'll do a new thread with less.clutter. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  22. I initially took the bow to a pro shop. Had them tune the new rest I bought there. Check timing and check string. Max bow poundage. Check cam integrity. Shooting 50lb draw. 100g heads. 0.4 spine arrows. Draw length 30. Arrow length 31 1/2 at 380grains total assembled weight. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  23. Love the skeletal pic. Showing the bones of the shoulder. Makes sense now in regards to shot placement. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
  24. Buck!!! I've been waiting for your insight. I ordered some stiffer arrows as the tears I got were possibly due to weak spine.... I'll update when they come in. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk
