keep gettin pics of this guy..... saw him in person today. looked more like the easy cam pic. like mini husky. heard yapping and howling as i left the woods tonight. i caught a video but for some reason 5 seconds is too big to post.

Definitely moving my stand 10 yards back... Looks like the bucks are using our trail. And I'm far enough in that the wind took my scent to them. The lightly changed direction. Back at it for pm sit.... Blew 2 out omw in this morning. Had 2 young bucks go through out of range. And a coyote/grey fox go right under me. Good winds except for the way the 2 bucks came in. Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

Just had 2 doe within 10 feet on the backside of my blind. Couldn't move for fear of spooking. I slowly moved to shoot and was waiting for a shot. They went back down the ridge. Not bad for first 30 minutes Sent from my D6708 using Tapatalk

I was going to wait in case of a buck. But after seeing the responses here I'll be filling the freezer first chance. At what point are the fawns old enough to survive? Obviously no spots. That sounds plausible. In keeping tabs on the wind for the last couple days. I've noticed that it has changed to be coming from the south and the west on different days. Seems all summer it has been east to west. So this will bode well.. Hopefully with the large size of the bedding area they will just use the other end. Not move off to another property. Just wanted to update this. We went in from the nor th to weedwack a narrow trail through the chest high field... About 50 yards in came across a bedding area. Then started hitting freshly used trails. Then more bedding areas... We backed out and are scrapping the plan. This is a 30 acre field all chest high. We bedding areas were to the west and tried to come in down wind of them. But apparently they are all throughout the field. A real deer hotel. How bad did we mess up? We made it about 100yards in. here are a few. lots of action. might be grabbing a turkey from the stand during deer season. turkeys are very frequent now. thanks clover. got a doe always in the plot around 530 till 615 almost every day. no fawns which is a plus. have 2 sets of mother and fawn. one of which is still spotted. looks like my bucks have gone nocturnal and the bachelor group has split up. the one pictured has a fork on either side and brow tines. and i got a bad picture of the 8 on my other cam early morning. unfortuneately i moved my easycam over a fake scrape last time i was out. but i hung it to high so instead of the 150pics i got on it last time i only got 4 terrible ones of the top half of a deer head. really blown away by the effectiveness of this small late plant small growth plot. also got a pic of what looks like a fox?
