  6. My wife still thinks I'm nuts about bowhunting, but now she joins me in the woods.
  7. Nice pics. Is that a mock scrape or one you found?
  8. What a great verity of pics. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Where is that deer. I think I heard of one like that on a preserve.
  10. Yes very sad. I too have had my trail cam stolen. I have my stands locked up. I'm starting to think that that isn't good enough any more.
  11. W O W You have to tell us what he weighs and scores. Good luck
  12. I was out last night. I wanted to see what damage was done. The only thing was a few trees down and someone stole my trail cam that i put out last Thursday. I was hoping to get picture of the storm from the point of the deer and to see what they were doing after the storm. People like that give us all a bad name. I had to save up for a year to by it. To add insult to injury I didn't see any deer. (3:00-Dark).
  13. Go with Smith Point Archery. The guys there are great. I got back into archery about 3 years ago, after a 20 year absents. They helped me update my old PSE. They didn't try to up sell me a new rig, but worked with me and my budget to get back into the woods. They are great guys.
  14. We have always hung ours by the neck. The meat in the neck is still good for a roast or stew.
  15. Hi, I to am new to this forum. I'm Jim. I've been bowhunting long Island for 4 years now, all public land. I've enjoyed reading the threads for so time now and i'm glad to join. Good luck to all this season.
  16. Great deer but I think he's only 2 1/2. I also think you can get a shot at him only one time, if you tuck your ground blind into the brush behind him. Try and do it at midday with as little noise as possible. Use the cut brush to brush in the blind. To help with the scent take the cut ends of the brush and rub them with dirt. Good luck.
