    I feel your pain. I lost a camera and a hang-on this year. (both chained and locked to trees). for the most part that moral compass is lost. If it's not yours don't touch it. It's a shame that even some good people will do such a thing when they think nobodys watching.

    My buddy shot a nice 8 pointer Tuesday evening. I also was out only to find my hang-on stolen. I set up on the ground at the other end of the little field. I had 3 does come by, but no bucks.

    Stone points work well. It's all about placement. But I have been using rage for years and never lost a deer.

    Download the DEC maps of the hunting areas near you and take a ride and find the parking spots. Make sure you get your land use permit.

    I didn't know they gave out patches. I guess I will be getting my 5 year next year.

    I have and only use my 1990 PSE. I do get teased about the speed, but I get a few deer ever year with it. I reply that when the deer jumps the string. My arrow hits them when they come back up.

    I've used the Rage for five years now, and never had a problem. I'm not saying that you can't come across a defective one, but I'm very happy with them.

    Same here. All does and fawns on my trail cams. Only one young buck so far.

    I beleive the contact info is for those that post property that isn't theirs. I was on public land a few years ago and came across posted signs. After having a DEC officer come out and check it. It turns out it was put up by another hunter trying to keep other hunters away from "his" hunting area.

    The Earth scent I can smell. It has a funny smell. I don't think it smells like the Earth at all. The regular wick I can hardly smell. I tested it out last turkey season. I had it on and had no bug around me. I decided the bugs aren't bad so I turned off. Thinking it was a waste. Man in 5 minutes I couldn't turn it on fast enough. IT WORKS !!

    I think it just diminishes the hunt. More lost woodmenship. The next generation of hunters will know even less about the conservation of the wild.
