Okay so after getting it gutted, the shot was not as good as i tohught. it pierced right through the center of the right side lung. she must have jumped on the shot, cuz the arrow came out towards the middle of the deer, barely hit the stomach but still hit it. The entry is clear but i marked with green. The exit is on the left side, the area where it is is marked with the red circle but its on the other side thats just the area it came out of. You think the meat is still good?

Here she is, she ran about 100 yards and had none left, gave her about 30 minutes, and she was dead next to a rockwall

SHES DOWN. she gave me a beautiful broadside shot at @20 yards, will post pics soon. I could not have gotten a better shot if there were a string to her lungs, double lung, 1 inch behind shoulder

It would be legal, nearest house isnt far bit its far enough for legal bow shot. I belive its 275 feet to the house. Thats where i am stuck, its not hunting at all so i feel wierd shooting it like that but ive eaten tag soup 3 seasons now, just wanted to fill the freezer.

Making a cup of coffee i notice a doe in the backyard, really want to fill me freezer this season, would you giys shoot her right now? Need a quick answer before she leaves.

im like half and half about this one, only reason i like this over a pop up is its smaller and easier to transport and get up and down in the dark.

Has anyone ever used one of those chair blinds when bow hunting, i dont have a tree stand yet and would like at least some sort of cover and concealment, plus its a nice comfy chair not wet leaves or a rock next to a tree. If you have used one, how large is it once set up and is it enough to be able to draw my bow in. http://www.overstock.com/Sports-Toys/Ameristep-Magnum-Chair-Blind/9151593/product.html?refccid=QFPT2ESV25GJP6COKLOWNZI6HY&searchidx=12

Forgot my headlamp this morning, nothing like stumbling around the woods at 5 A.M, had to choose a tree because i could not find the blind, or see any trail markers
