Lost by 2, great game but of course sloppy fielding cost us in the bottom of the fifth. On to tomorrows reg season game.

We won earlier so we're playing in the championship game now. My son got player of the game in the earlier game.

Finished the game from last night which we win, so back to the fields in a few hrs, if we win the next game we play in the championship game. He hit a double and and a rbi to finish up the game.

Yeah the strike outs drive me nuts too.

This mornings game was ugly. He only batted once and struck out. No one did very much, they won by 12. This afternoons game was good, were up by 2 runs with just over an inning left, they called it due to weather delays and the fact another game had to be played so we're at the fields at 7:15 am. He hit a nice one to center field that I thought was gone but it landed at the fence.

Played a local tourney game tonight and won. Son played pretty well, pop up, double and a strike out, I think 2 rbi's. Pitched the last two innings and struggled again, not pitching with any speed, enough that other parents were asking if he was ok. After the game he said it hurts behind his throwing shoulder, something he's mentioned the last couple times, I just assumed he was making an excuse. Not sure where to go from here, Dr James Andrew's?

Tonight went well again, first at bat was a deep center field hit that was caught, a walk and 2 hits. They beat the only undefeated team so they were pretty pumped.

Another close rec game. He walked, grounded out and hit a double, I was hoping the wind would carry it for a HR. His last at bat top of the 6th 2 outs tying run on third and he struck out. Have to say I was proud of how he handled himself, pretty upset but held it together at least till we made it to the truck!

Well they added a tournament this coming weekend so reg season games, Mon and wed, the tourney game Thur, 2 sat and Sundays games depend on how we play. So our weekend camping may be scrapped.

Made it thru half the first game until the thunderstorms came in. He went 2 for 2. They called the game and the game later today.

Oh, finally remembered to take a pic of hi pitching. He's still 10 yrs old for a few more days, he gets his height from me!

Well tonight was a travel team game, pitched 1 inning before getting yanked, struck out the first 2 batters then couldn't throw a strike. Walked the first at a bat, struck out the 2nd at bat and then hit a 2 run home the last at bat. 2 games tomorrow pending thunder storm's.

First game was a fun one. Down by 1 bottom of the 6th, my son's up first, hits one between left field and center for a single, steals to 3rd and scores on a wild pitch to tie. Couldn't get anything else going. Go into extra innings and win. Son went strike out, 2 hits but was out both times and a single to keep us in the game. Pitched 2 decent innings. Next game at 5

He hit well tonight (travel team game) first at bat a walk, next one hit a deep shot to rf but was caught, third was a single. He played ss and cf, not a ball came his way.

Well made it thru 2 innings and they called it for rain, fields were a mess already. Maybe some day the weather will actually turn nice.

Well if this weather ever gets nice my son has games wed, Fri, 2 sat and 2 on Sunday, plus maybe a make up game that was cancelled Monday.
