Hey bird hunter I read on another thread that you have a GSP, how do you like them? We are considering getting one, my brother in law has one and he is great with the kids. Very well behaved even as a pup. Any insights?

I got skunked this year, they plowed the field that the turkeys were roosting in the day before opener of course, and later in the season we had some toms in a field that I was working very hard for and low and behold a couple of guys come driving up in the woods smiling like they were in love and game over. What can you do, it was an odd year for us.

I have bow hunted since I was a little doewhacker, its in my blood and I love it. There is nothing like it, its peacefull and the deer are more relaxed. I feel like I am a better shot with my bow than I am with a gun. Bowhunting is the best in my opinion.

I may shot or draw the bow a little in the off season but I start up in March/April and start light. Maybe Once or twice a week and slowly I build into shooting almost every day. By fall it is every day and for extended periods of time too. I just love shooting the bow.

Me- Six on bow opener and a doe the last week of bow Wife- First deer ever..a doe and it was with the bow Brother- Nice 7 with bow, nice doe with bow, and a real nice 8 with the rifle The old man- O, for the first time that I can remeber Over all a good season, didn't gun hunt at all except a little ML. I also got to see a Martin and an Eagle, nice perks to the year.

Me I have been busy with summer time stuff and spending money. Sold my Motorcycle, bought a spanking new camper, bought a new Compound, and now we are considering adding a dog to the family. Oh and of course setting up the new bow and shooting it.

I did 2 of 3 bathrooms this spring and now the wifey is looking at wood floors.. I told I quit and she laughed, I guess I have no say in the matter any more. Oh and we did our pool liner last week end, what fun.
