holy friggen kidney stone/new appreciation for my wife

Look up low oxalate diets is what I was told. Unfortunately, everything has oxalate in it, it seems but some foods have lower amounts which help prevent stones from forming. Coffee, soda, teas, nuts are all contributing factors but not the main ones. Diet change and water with lemon as mentioned above are suppose to help keep you flushed so to speak. -

holy friggen kidney stone/new appreciation for my wife

Been there, done that with a 9mm stone and agree it is no fun at all and feel your pain. Had the same procedure and as Eddie stated above - just wait until you have the stint removed as an outpatient office visit. Good times right there. -
Yeah the brookies were decent this year but the overall size was down and a ton thrown back. I just love those tiny aggressive native brookies though. They get released after a good fight. I forgot to say that 85% of these were caught on [emoji535]. The rest were caught on spinners, worms, or minnows. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

It was like shooting fish in a barrel. Caught my limit and many more thrown back Friday and Saturday. Kept 22 for the fish fry Saturday night. We roasted half a pig too. Here's a few pics Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

Good weekend in the mountains of PA trout fishing. Had several beers and unfortunately several shots. Unmarked bottle and short glass is a home brewed black IPA that was out of this world. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

I head to PA each year for their trout opener with my BIL. We cancelled our trip yesterday for this weekend due to a death in the family and services Saturday. Well the services were moved to Monday so we leave tomorrow night. #1 bait we use is Double Luck whole kernel corn for $.48 per can at Walmart. Just picked up a can tonight. Works great and floats downstream without having to use any weights and is natural looking like the pellets they are fed in the hatchery. Use a size 10 or 12 hook. I'll post up pics Sunday when we get back. This was last year's haul on opening day. 80% caught on corn, other 20 on spinners or mini marshmallows colored with green food coloring. How was the beer? And did you get up?

There is already a plastic angled piece underneath the saw and has a hose output to hook up a vacuum for dust and shavings and I was definitely thinking cabinet base for more storage. Thanks for the tip

Well I had some 2x4s and didn't get creative so I just screwed them into the wooden box it came with. It seems high but is actually a perfect height. I need to add a few in between braces to shore it up but it is solid and doesn't wobble as I thought it would. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

Didn't celebrate Easter today as my wife's folks who host were at hospice for wife's 93yr old grandmother all day. Not looking good and may have to cancel fishing trip to PA this weekend. Spent the day in the garage making stuff. Enjoying on the couch now. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

It did come with a rip fence and miter gauge as well wolc123 and the built in light is fantastic for my pathetic eyes. Those are some nice cabinets taco. I'm going to have to build something like that real soon as I am running out of room with all my new tools. Table saw, Miter saw, band saw, scroll saw, router and table (tabletop one).

LOL - My wife came out in the garage last night as I was cutting a few things with it and she's asking 100 questions like "Aren't you afraid you'll cut your fingers off?" and I was like NO I wasn't until you came out and started asking 100 questions. I also forgot to put how much I got it for - $30 and came with 8 extra blades.

Yes I have a dust mask as my small garage tends to fill quickly with dust. I should have been clearer on the leg question too. Should I angle them or would straight up and down be ok? Haven't made many tables so a little unsure on what would make it more sturdy. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

So recently I've taken to woodworking and am enjoying it as a hobby. I've even made a few bucks selling some items. It's scary buying used tools off of Craigslist but all of the ones I have bought I've had demoed before purchasing. I came across a smoking hot deal yesterday and thought I'd share with you guys. I bought a Craftsman 12" band saw and this thing is a beast. I've never owned a bandsaw so I've read up on them and watched some videos. I made some cuts and changed the blade out as well. I found I did a few things incorrectly and the blade walks just a tad so still learning to fine tune and have picked up some good pointers on the net. Let me know what you think of her!! Also, it came sitting on a wooden box as it didn't have a stand. The box protects the motor and helps the saw sit level as it sits atop my table saw for now. Any suggestions for how I should add legs to the box are appreciated to make it solid and sturdy. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk

I too just bought some used tools and I'm slowly getting there making things out of pallet wood. I have the same dust issue but am building a homemade cyclone using a shop vac I saw on YouTube. Thanks for the advice Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
