the snow is hindering me more then helping

My uncle said they were chasing good on Wednesday Thursday Friday last week. I hunted this weekend weather warmed up and nothing. Hopefully tomorrow it's a little better in 9k suppose to get 2-4 inches over night and stay in the 20's all day. It will be my last day in the stand for bow

Been in the stand since 6 snow on the ground big tracks coming by my stand. The only issue is the wind isn't quite right

Just talk to my uncles buddy who hunt our property on Wednesday said he nick a doe and tracked but eventually lost the trail( my uncle saw the deer today was limping but alive) but in the coarse of tracking the deer he said he saw two massive deer the biggest he's seen in his 25 plus years of hunting. My uncle was out today and saw a few heard a lot more crashing around. He also saw what he said was a 4 or 5 year old buck not impressive rack but a huge body. Also a inch of fresh snow fell today. This should be a good weekend

My buddy shot a deer Monday and it looked like someone walked through the woods with spray paint we looked for 6 hours couldn't find it. It didn't help that it ran into a swamp

I had a big doe with a fawn running around my property well the last two weekends I've only been seeing the fawn. What are the chances of the fawn making it through the winter?

should I move to a different stand mind you all the stands are in the direction that the buck went?

No I could get to my morning stand in time so I'm in my evening stand and was not expecting that deer to come by. Out of range too

Just grunted in my first buck ever I don't know who was most surprised me or the deer

I try for at least 15 but it depends on the tree some trees you can only maybe get 8-10. Nice thing about a climber is if you have some idea of the deer pattern you can situate your self so the winds in your favor. If you can find a tree that has brush around you that will help but wind is a key factor

My buddy and myself hunt a property by my house that we got permission to hunt on 3 weeks into the season. It's in niagara county and has a ton of deer on it but we didn't get to scout it. Well we went out Monday and he had a deer cross the path about 45 yards to his left. So on Tuesday he moved a few trees over and had bye deer cross at 25. He missed but still with a hang on he wouldn't have been able to do that. This weekend I'll probably be using a climber and I'll be relatively close to my latter stand in the southern tier depending on the wind. I keep having the same deer cross in front of me just outside my comfort zone so I'll be taking down my climber.
