    I'd say savage but I'd spend a few extra dollars on getting a model 110 over a axis the accu trigger alone is worth it. My buddy has a axis 06 and I have a 110 .243. He cut his trigger spring for a lighter pull and I still think mines at least a pound lighter pull

    I have a small little handle held spotlight with a red filter I forget how powerful it is. I want to be stealthyier when I'm coyote hunting

    Anyone know of any good night optics that won't break the bank? Not looking for a scope just something to scan fields and not use a spot light. I was looking at a ATN digital IR mono scope with 4x magnification just don't know the effective range on them

    My brother bought a 12 ft sit in a couple weeks ago. He's gone out twice on Lake Erie by the small boat harbor. He goes at night actually did catch a walleye the other night. My brother is a fishing addict he could and has fished for 18 hrs straight

    Went to a tent "sale" at a local gun range today and bought 5 boxes of federal .22 ( 50 count) for 26 bucks. After I purchased them I realized that they were more expensive then cci's I just bough last week. Kind of feel dumb.

    Why is it that you can use a rifle for predators in non rifle areas for deer? Last winter I was going coyote hunting in Clarence called the dec and they said that I could use my .243. I never asked why you couldn't for deer though

    I heard on the news last week or so that the US is spending a Billion dollars on helicopters and planes for the afghanis and they don't even have enough people to fly and maintain 25% of the aircraft. Oh on top of that the billion dollars is going to a Russian company to produce the aircraft.

    Anyone else have a Smith and Wesson m&p 15-22? I have one and was wondering how cci's standard velocity 40 grain shoot out of them? I just picked up a brick at Dicks and never shot them out of my gun. Normally I try to get winchesters but beggars can't be choosers in are current situation

    Looking to get into bow hunting this year. I'm looking for a ready to hunt bow that's half way decent. Not looking to break the bank on it maybe spend up to 400 dollars before arrows. Any suggestions would be helpful

    How big is your son? My cousin is 11 now and last time we where at camp I let him shoot my 870 12 ga. He had no trouble handling it. I started him off with one shell at a time but by the end of the day he was shooting 5 no problem. My cousin is a bigger kid though

    They should at least extend the season till the end of turkey I think. Even if you could only hunt them till noon.

    We only have 30 lobsters for 20 people and 7 of them don't eat lobster

    On the way back in from the half day fluke charter. Went out with my cousins. Slow day for us caught 3 or 4 fish that were just shy of the legal limit. All and all it was a good day on the water even though didn't bring any fish home. Guess I'll just have to fill up on lobster tonight.

    I did a night charter off block island on one of the party boats before didn't cat h any monsters but did catch some keepers and some dogs. My aunt wasn't too happy that me and my brother got dropped off at the docks instead of saying hi to the family

    Looks like I may be able to get out on the morning charter tomorrow for some sea bass and fluke. Although if the weather holds tomorrow and its not too rough I may just make my cousin take me out on his boat. Wasn't sure if they put it in the water this year because they haven't the last two

    Going to my aunt and uncles beach house in Narragansett RI for my cousins graduation party. Looking forward to doing a little shore fish/ kayak fishing while I'm there. Haven't been there in a few years so should be fun. Mostly going to catch baby blues and shade? I think that's what their called. Any salt water guys have any advice on what to use?
